4 out of 5 stars My cats love it!   July 4, 2009

My two cats were always scratching at the carpets at home, so I bought them the Cat Scratch Mat. They love it, it has a little mouse on the one side, which they play with, they use the match to scratch and it has stopped them from using my carpets as a scratch mat.

The mat comes with nails and some attachments so that it can also be nailed to the wall, if that is what one wants to do.

I gave the product 4 stars as it is a bit smaller than I had expected. But otherwise it is a brilliant product.

3 out of 5 stars a little disappointed   April 10, 2010

I bought this for my 2 Maine Coons to use, but they rarely use it. It can be mounted on a wall, but I'm renting and I don't want to have to make a lot of repairs. Instead, my cats like to use the foot of my fabric covered footboard :( I have a large cat tower with 5 sisal posts, but the posts aren't tall enough for a really good stretch because the cats are big. I guess I'll have to invest in a self-standing, tall, sturdy scratching post for them.

I bought this for my cat and he has never once used it. i don't know if this is a fault with the product or my cat!

My 14 week old kitten expressed his interest with this product just once! And the poor mouse was instantly decapitated at the first attempt. Bit of a gimmick if you ask me.
