I bought this feeder a year or two ago and have found it to be invaluable. It is well constructed, sturdy and very reliable. Our cat has never failed to eat all the food left in it and, in fact, the gradual appearing of the next meal keeps her guessing, happy and alert! It's true there is no timer but it's not rocket science to work it out i.e. 9 hours from one section being completely open to the next section being completely open. There are no fancy timers or batteries to go wrong -it simply does the job. Well worth buying.

I bought two of these and use them occasionally when away overnight etc. Easy to use, no worries about batteries running out and they are reliable. I would recommend this product to any cat owner!

This feeder is clockwork based so the lid just rotates through 4 feeds in a 48 hour period. The next feed will be available before the last one is closed off. There is no viewable timer etc so it is not very user friendly but it does exactly what it says on the tin. It has a quiet tick and will not disturb a cat or frighten them so it is fit for purpose but overall I am not impressed. I wish I had done a bit more "feeder research" before buying this. My guess is it is probably worth spending a bit more and getting something a bit more sophisticated.
