I love this cat flap. I was nervous before buying it in case the cat couldn't work it, she kept losing her tag or whether other cats could get in anyway but I needn't have worried. I am SO please I got this now. It has different settings so you can lock it at night or lock it one way. The cat has no problem using it and it has kept out some other huge tom cats in the garden who I was worried would spray if they got in the house. One of the bigger ones was headbutting it but luckily it was strong enough to keep him out and stop him terrorising my poor moggy!
The magnets are not cumbersome and fit on her collar nicely and she hasn't got anything stuck to it yet (read horror stories of cats getting forks and other large metal implements stuck to them!).
I also like the fact that when it was installed into our double glazed back door that it looks really neat and you hardly notice it is there.
A thumbs up from me!

Door works well, and cat quickly got the hang of it. Main problem caused by the ultra strong magnet which is meant to hang down off collar, but most cat collars have a metal buckle which inevitably attracts the magnet back up to the collar and makes it slightly less effective. Admittedly this is only a problem at the beginning when the cat has not gained confidence that the door will actually open. Would be ideal if a collar with no metal parts was included within the package.

Good build quality,but the cat flap does`nt close fully. May be the draft exclusion is a bit tight and will wear down with age

Purchased this as a replacement for a flap that was 5 yrs old and had operated perfectly.
All fine for a week or two, then one night heard a bang on the flap and came down to find cat in the kitchen and the bottom edge of the flap broken so that it no longer caught on the magnetic catch.
The vendor posted a replacement flap to me and within 4 days I had it in and operating.
Interestingly on this particular unit the rotating position catch to the right of the magnetic switch is not installed according to the position pictures on the body of the cat flap. So you have to experiment to get it to work properly, basic DIY but maybe beyond some.
